Mindfulness is the practice of being present to one's body, mind, feelings, and spirit, as we encounter the daily challenges life presents. Research shows that an increase in awareness of our felt senses and inner process through mindful practices, like meditation, will positively affect our brain chemistry and physiology, such that we will come to naturally regulate our inner process without much effort.
At Hopemead, Counseling and Trauma Center, we offer an integrative mindfulness program that includes Yoga Therapy, Hugging Therapy, Healthful Yoga, and Meditation, to support our clients in their healing and process. Meditation sessions are led by trained professionals, who will guide you through the process.
